The following four methodologies are examples of a few of the specific techniques used by STG professionals in conducting assignments for clients.
This summary is not intended as a complete list of all business analysis methodologies we use or that are available-- such a list would be difficult to compile as many academic researchers publish new methods of analysis. Some methodologies are for a brief time “stylish,” but then are no longer popular five years later (although they may remain useful.) The intent of the methodologies summarized below is to illustrate the diversity of approaches we have employed, to provide an idea of what is required in their selection and application, and to highlight their strengths and weaknesses.
